DEUS EX MACHINA: An improbable character, contrived device, or event that is suddenly introduced to
	untangle a plot or resolve a situation.  This Latin term translates as "god from a machine".  In Greek 
	and Roman drama, this intervention was usually made by a Greek/Roman deity.  Got that?
